  • Call our safari experts at 714.985.3456 or your travel agent and request a registration package for the trip of your choice.

  • All brochure featured safaris require a deposit of $500 per person. After land confirmation, we will book your flights and request a payment for the airline portion of the trip.

  • Final payment is due 90 days from the departure date, and may be made by check or credit card.

  • All airline tickets carry penalties for any changes made after the tickets are issued. Some of the tickets are nonrefundable and non-changeable.

    • TOUR PRICES:

    Tour prices are current as of January 2024. Best Safaris reserves the right to adjust tour prices to cover increases in fuel surcharges, national park fees, or other operating costs.


    ACCOMMODATIONS:

    Accommodation is based on double occupancy in hotels, lodges and camps in twin bedded rooms. Single occupancy rates are available as listed in each program.


    INSURANCE:

    We strongly recommend you purchase a travel insurance policy that protects against trip cancellation and interruption, baggage loss or damage, and also provides medical coverage.


    DOCUMENTS AND TICKETS:

    Travel documents will be sent to you 14 days prior to tour departure, providing full payment and completed registration and liability release forms have been received.


    PASSPORT & VISAS:

    All travelers must have a valid passport, which does not expire for at least six months after your scheduled return date. At the time of publishing, U.S. citizens require visas for Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. Non-U.S. citizens should check with their specific embassies or consulates for visa requirements. Visa requirements can change without notice. We recommend all travelers check with the appropriate embassies or consulates to determine if visas are needed. Securing visas is the responsibility of each traveler. Best Safaris and its agents shall not be held responsible by travelers who do not meet visa requirements.


    CANCELLATION FEES:

    Cancellations must be made in writing to Best Safaris. Land prices are subject to the following cancellation charges:

  • More than 90 days before departure: a cancellation fee of $300 per person applies (amount may vary for customized tour/safari packages)
  • Between 21 and 89 days before departure: 50% of the tour cost.
  • Less than 21 days before departure: 100% of the tour cost
  • Airfare cancellation penalties are additional, and will vary depending on the class of airfare booked and the particular airline's policies.
  • Once a tour program has begun, there is no refund available for unused portions of the itinerary.
