Day 1: Thursday - Arusha

Day 2/3: Fri/Sat - Tarangire
Early morning blue skies may make it possible to get a glimpse of the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro as you head towards Tarangire National Park . This afternoon enjoy your first game drive in the bush. (BLD)

Day 4: Sunday – Lake Manyara
This morning drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is home to numerous birds, elephant, tree-climbing lions, hippos and buffaloes. (BLD)

Day 5: Monday - Ngorongoro
Continue your safari adventure to the Ngorongoro Conservation area, host to the birthplace of man. It is also home to the unique intact caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive in time for lunch and a Masai village visit. (BLD)

Day 6: Tuesday - Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy breathtaking views of the crater as the sun rises. This morning descend 2000 feet below the rim of the crater for a full day game viewing with picnic lunch. The crater is home to abundant game, including the “Big Five,” plus the black rhino, jackal and zebra. (BLD)

Day 7: Wednesday - Serengeti
This morning drive to Olduvai Gorge for a short visit to the site of the remains of prehistoric “Nutcracker man.” Continue your journey to the world’s best-known park, the Serengeti. Named after the Masai word, “Siringet” for endless plains of short and long grass, the Serengeti is well known for its large prides of lion, cheetah and packs of wild dog and for nearly a million or so wildebeest. Lunch at the lodge and later in the afternoon enjoy a game viewing drive. (BLD)

Day 8/9: Thu/Fri - Serengeti
Enjoy two full days with morning and late afternoon game drives, with time spent relaxing on the grounds of the lodge. On one of the mornings you may opt for an early morning balloon safari (extra cost: $349) over the Serengeti Plains, which includes a bubbly champagne breakfast upon landing. (BLD)

Day 10: Saturday - Depart Arusha
Morning game drive followed by transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha where you are met on arrival and transfer to the lodge. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. After an early dinner, proceed to the airport for your flight home. (BLD)
