Covering some of the finest and most iconic areas, the Best of Namibia is a safari that showcases the legendary dunes of Sossusvlei, the geographically unique Damaraland region with its’ desert-adapted elephant, the Himba nomadic tribe before travelling to Etosha National Park.

Day 1: Arrive Namibia
Arrive Windhoek, Namibia where our representative will meet you and transfer Galton House, boutique guesthouse in the quiet Windhoek suburb of Eros. (D)

Day 2: Sossusvlei
Drive to the Sesriem area today through the spectacular Naukluft Mountains. Arrive at Sossus Dune Lodge conveniently located to visit Sossusvlei. With the added benefit of being very close to Sesriem Canyon, it is also a great lodge from which to access the dunes at first light. (BLD)

Day 4: Swakopmund
Drive to Swakopmund, a picturesque colonial town on the shores of the Atlantic. Arrive this afternoon to explore the town and wander along the waterfront. (BLD)

Day 5: Swakopmund
Half day kayak trip to Pelican Point to see the large seal colony. Enjoy a stroll on the beach before heading back to town for a leisurely afternoon. (BLD)

Day 6: Damaraland
Drive north to Damaraland and see the mountains, open plains and dry river beds, home to the desert adapted elephants. Arrive this afternoon to visit nearby attractions and geological sites of the pre-historic Twyfelfontein rock engravings, Burnt Moutain and Organ Pipes. (BLD)

Day 7: Damaraland
Enjoy nature drives to make the most of the scenery and search for the desert adapted elephants which inhabit this area. BLD)

Day 8: Southern Etosha
Today visit a local Himba settlement as your travel to Etosha via Grootsberg Pass. Arrive Etosha late in the afternoon. The rest of the evening can be spent game viewing at the camp's floodlit waterhole. (BLD)

Day 9: Eastern Etosha
Today you have a full day of game viewing as you travel across the park to the east of Etosha. Stop at the various waterholes as well as the huge salt pan. Leave the park at the eastern gate and spend the next two nights at Onguma Tree Top Camp. (BLD)

Day 10: Eastern Etosha
Enjoy game viewing around the eastern section of Etosha National Park. (BLD)

Day 11: Okonjima
This morning drive south to AfriCat Foundation, a wildlife sanctuary which focuses on the research and rehabilitation of Africa's big cats. Take part in the various activities before dinner and overnight. (BLD)

Day 12: Depart
You will rise early this morning for another memorable guided activity before breakfast. After freshening up you will depart for Windhoek to connect with your flight home. (BL)
